We are starting to reach larger numbers of people. If soup is being cooked, we should cook for 20 people. For the main course and desert, we should cook for 50 people.
A reminder - if you have bought food for one of the homeless meals, bring your receipt(s) to the meal or email a scan of them to Nigel for reimbursement. It is welcome if you want to donate the costs, but it is absolutely not expected.
Someone from another group feeding the homeless became exceptionally ill with e-coli after a meal. Cooks - be vigilant about washing your hands before handling any food and again after any contact with the guests (eg. handshakes). That way, we can avoid contracting a horrible illness or spreading it to any of the very vulnerable guests
