Shared Faith 2007
|
The "Shared Faiths" program allows us to share our faiths and values with each other. The program for 2007 is set out below.
This program is designed for members of the faith communities of Maidenhead to meet together and to discuss each of our respective faiths.
Each group will spend about half the session discussing either our faith or current issues from the Faith's perspective. The other half of the session is time that is set aside for discussion between everyone on the topics raised. This program should give us all a far better understanding of the truth of each of our faiths, and should help to dispel some of the myths, ignorance and prejudice that exist.
The strength of interfaith relations depends on how well members of our respective faith groups meet and understand each other. So we are strongly encouraging anyone who is interested to learn a little more of the values of our respective faiths to come along to any or all of the meetings.
This fascinating, free program is open to the General Public. Details are set out below, with contact details for anyone wanting to come along.
